Makita has delivered a cordless tying solution for rebar and steel rod with the 18V LXT Brushless Rebar Tying Tool (DTR181). The DTR181 has a tying capacity of up to 5,000 ties of 16mm x 16mm diameter rebar on with a 6.0Ah battery (battery sold separately). Tie multiple bars in under one second. The DTR181 can tie up to a 24mm x 20mm bar or 28mm x 16mm or combination of four bars 2x 16mm & 2x 12mm

The 18V LXT Brushless Rebar Tying Tool features 2 modes of operation, single or continuous, and a Brushless Motor that runs cooler and more efficiently for a longer life than standard motors. Digitally adjust the tying strength to match various tension strength requirements. The DTR181 features an easy-load wire reel design with an automatic locking mechanism built into the protective cover.
