The 40V Max XGT Brushless X-Lock 125mm (5") Paddle Switch Angle Grinder (GA044G) delivers corded grinding performance without the cord for the most demanding applications The unique feature with this angle grinder is the X-LOCK Technology, which is a quick-change system for tool-free wheel changes. A click-mount and pull release lever make changing wheels easy.

It is ideal for grinding and cutting a wide range of materials. The GA044G is powered by a Makita-built variable speed brushless motor for longer run time, increased power, speed, and longer tool life. Active Feedback-sensing Technology (AFT) turns the motor off if rotation speed suddenly slows shutting down the tool in the event of a kickback.
